Peacefully, with family by her side, at Whisperwood Villa on Sunday, March 1, 2015, of Helen Louise Travers (Hardy) of Charlottetown, age 95 years.
Mother of Jean MacDonald (Charles) and Phil Vessey (Annabelle), Fredericton, N.B. Stepmother of David Travers (Cathy), Bedford, N.S., and Scott Travers, ON. Grandmother of Jill Heighway (Tom), Stacey MacKinnon (Mark), Janice Cooper (Ed) and Karen Scott (Kyle). Step-grandmother of Karla McCardle (Pat) and Kendra Wright (Dave). Great-grandmother of 11. Sister of Edith Robinson and sister-in-law of Evelyn Hardy.
Predeceased by her husbands, Reginald Travers and Ivan Vessey; brother, Douglas Hardy; and brother-in-law, Dean Robinson.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. Funeral from Park Royal United Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 3-6 pm.
