Léo-Paul Bourque, 69, of Dieppe passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015. Born in Scoudouc, NB, he was the son of the late François and the late Elvina (née: Babineau) Bourque.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gérène (née: Breau) Bourque; his mother-in-law, Dorice Breau of Dieppe; one sister, Antoinette (Bernard) Poirier, of Moncton; his nieces: Charline Poirier, Nadine Poirier, Lynne Poirier and Natalie Wiggins.
Before his retirement, he was employed with Correctional Services. He was a very courageous man and he liked playing cards with his buddies.
Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Friday, March 6th, 2015 at 10:30 am.
In memory of Léo-Paul, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
