MASKERY, CLIFFORD HEWITSON
1942-2015
Clifford Hewitson Maskery, 72, of Moncton went to be with his Lord and Saviour on March 4th, 2015, he passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital.
Clifford was born in Toronto on December 2, 1942 the son of the Donald and Dorothy (Booth) Maskery. He was very active in the Recovery Program at Harvest House Atlantic, having impacted a lot of lives with his life story and his faith. He and his son were able to help others with their life experiences through "Drugs, Deals Delivered", a book about changes that can happen when you find Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, which is available through Harvest House Atlantic. He always said "If the Lord can help me he can help anybody!" Clifford cherished times spent with his family and friends. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he felt blessed to have them in his life. He is now at Peace with his Lord.
He will be deeply missed by his son, Cal Maskery (Rose) of Moncton; daughter, Laura Maskery of Riverview; treasured grandchildren, Nathan, Alisha, Kayla, Brandon, Luke and Amanda; great grandchildren, Esther, Malachi, Andrew and Lucy; sister, Joy Acheson (Rob) and brothers, Norm Maskery and Dave Maskery all of Ontario. He will also be missed by the mother of his children, Maggie and by many friends at the Recovery Program.
Honoring Clifford's own wishes there will be no visitation, but a celebration of his life will be held at the Harvest House Atlantic, 182 High Street, Moncton on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 10:30am. His son, Cal, and his family will be officiating. Following the service, the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for refreshments at the Harvest House.
Donations to the Harvest House Addiction Recovery Program would be greatly appreciated.
