MAILLET, MARIE-LOUISE

SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB - Marie-Louise Maillet 90, of Saint-Louis-de-Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne-de-Kent on Friday, March 6, 2015. Born in St. Ignace-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Fidèle Robichaud and late Suzanne (Gray) Robichaud. Marie-Louise attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. She was a member of the Golden Age Club.

Marie-Louise will be sadly missed by her daughter Rose-Alma Proulx (Maurice) of Saint-Louis; three sons, Laurie of Moncton, Gerald (Aline) of St. Ignace, Sylvio of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Susie Proulx-Daigle (Bert), Gilles (Joanne), Stephane and four great grandchildren, Marc André and Jérémy Daigle and Joelle and Miguelle Proulx.

She is also survived by one sister, Aline Steeves (Ronnie) and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Maillet, five sisters, Imelda, Lucie, Celeste, Marie and Alma and two brothers, Joseph Robichaud and Father Adelard.

Marie-Louise cherished her children and grandchildren... She loved to spend time with family and friends.

Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in Marie-Louise's memory may be made to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or for Masses at the church. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
