KETTELA, LINDA BARBARA
The passing of Linda Barbara Kettela, of Fredericton, NB, occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 6, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.

Born on December 6, 1943 in Toronto, ON, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anne (Eliuk) Kowalchuk. Linda worked for Service Canada and was affiliated with St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and time spent with her book club, was a volunteer with VON, Wheels to Meals and the Boys and Girls Club.

Linda is survived by her special friend, Leo Leger; her sons, Paul Kettela (Angela) of Woodstock, NB and Mike Kettela (Monique) of Miramichi, NB; grandchildren, Taylor and Jordan and the extended Kettela Family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Russell Kowalchuk.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, 1 William Street, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11am with Father John Jennings officiating.
