Clement Franklin 'Clem' Donovan

It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of Clement Franklin 'Clem' Donovan, at home on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Richard 'Dick'and Catherine 'Kay' (Barron) Donovan.
Clem was a wonderful man, who loved his family dearly. He was a lifetime member of the United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Welders, Sydney, N.S. He was respected by many across Canada. Clem was the youngest person in Canada to achieve his journeyman status when he started his journey at age 17.
Clem is survived by his wife Glenda; daughters, Shannon (Andrew) MacDonald, Jennifer (Adam MacNeil) Donovan; grandchildren, Lilly and Tessa MacDonald. He is also survived by his brothers, Kelly (Linda), Wayne (Brenda Curry); sister-in-law Eva Donovan and many nieces and nephews . Clem will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral mass will take place Wednesday at 11a.m. in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys with Rev. Bill Burke officiating. Interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery.
