CAROL LOUISE MULLALY
In her 78th year, following a lengthy battle with chronic illness, Carol's journey on this earth ended on Saturday, March 7 at the Palliative Care Unit in Charlottetown. Survived by daughters Kelly (Ron Zakar) and Kat (Chris Seguin), sister Jean Shields and extended family across Canada. Predeceased by son Michael and a son who died in infancy. Leaving her beloved furry companion of 10 years, her rescue Shih Tzu, Niko in the care of dear PEI friend, Meredith Black. A dedicated employee in varied careers in Montreal, London, Ottawa, Edmonton and Toronto, it was her volunteer work in the theater and community services which brought her the most joy and satisfaction, and in particular, the many hours spent with the special team of volunteers in the "Out of the Cold" food program in Toronto. Sincere thanks to doctors O'Neill, Bellamy, and Chaudhary and their support staff, as well as the wonderful staff at the Same Day Treatment Unit and Home/Palliative Care. No visitation or service in accordance with Carol's wishes but donations to the PEI Humane Society or PEI Palliative Care program would be welcome in her memory as would any random act of kindness or a moment of reflection in appreciation of the beauty and wonder of nature.
