BARNABY, Lavani Marie – Infant daughter Delia Barnaby, Millbrook First Nation, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, at IWK Health Centre, Halifax. Along with her mother, Lavani is survived by her sister, Laken Forstner; brother, Liam MacPhee, both of Saint John, New Brunswick; maternal grandmother, Cynthia Paul; maternal grandfather, Donald Barnaby; aunt, Lisa (Thomas) Dennis, all of Millbrook First Nation; uncles, Robin (Tammy) Somerville, Burnt Church, New Brunswick; Jerico Barnaby (Britny Shortliffe), Frank Barnaby (Michelle Lattie), all of Truro; several cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, where Lavani’s family will receive friends from 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015, until 10 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2015, in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Church Road, Millbrook First Nation, Father Dariusz Miskowicz officiating. Salité will follow in Millbrook Community Hall. Spring interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Cemetery. Family flowers only.
