Hatfield, Shawn L.M. - 58 of Halifax and Truro passed away peacefully
on March 7, 2015 in the VG Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Truro he was a son of Albert and the late Joan
(Carmichael) Hatfield. Shawn worked for over 20 years as a
security officer at the NS Agricultural College in Truro. He loved
taking road trips by car or with his friend Larry in Larry's 18 Wheeler. Besides his father he is survived by sisters, Sharon ( Jim Boutilier),
Angela Jordan ( Dennis Ryan) , Alechia ( Peter Archibald) ; brothers,
Todd ( Cheryl), Jeff ( Debbie);brother- in –law Rollie Cox; birth
children, Shauna, Carrie; four grandchildren. He was predeceased
by sister, Amy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of
Cole Harbour Funeral home. A gathering of family and friends will
