PERRY, CLAUDETTE E.
Claudette E. Perry, 74, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Gerard “Roy” and Elizabeth (LeBlanc) Vautour.
Claudette was the former Owner / Operator of Claude’s Variety in Dieppe (Lakeburn) and attended Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church. She was Past President of the Dieppe Lioness Club and she enjoyed crafts, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
Claudette will be sadly missed by her children, Victor Perry (Carol) and Lynn Perry, both of Moncton; Jeff Perry (Rachelle) of Dieppe; grandchildren, Christopher Perry, Jennifer Arsenault, Sarah MacPherson, Miles and Monica Perry; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Arsenault; brothers, Raymond Vautour (Donna), Melvin Vautour (Brenda) and Patrick Vautour; sisters, Diana Lutes (late Ivan), Imelda Benoit (Harold), Florence Wright, Pauline LeBlanc (Alfred), Stella Leger (Roland ), Marie Cormier (Francis), Murielle Kinsella (Sonny), Louise Gallant (Tom); several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm “Mel” Perry (1981); son, Gregory Perry (June 4, 2014); infant brother, Roger; sister, Corinne Vautour.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the spring.
In Claudette’s memory, donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care) or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
