Weston, Glen Gordon – 82, Salmon River. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Glen, on Monday March 9, 2015 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born April 13, 1932 in River John, he was the son of the late Percy and Artishia (McGowan) Weston. Glen worked in construction, loved motocross, snowmobile racing and camping. Glen was predeceased by his wife and soulmate, Christine (Reid). Glen is survived by his daughter, Kimberlee (Steven) Blenkhorn, Alberta; stepdaughter, Arlene (Ken) Fleck, Truro; sisters, Dorothy (Cliff) Taplin, Edna (Delmar) Ducharme; brothers, Vernon (Evelyn) Weston; Vincent (Barb) Weston; grandchildren, Coulton, Coady; step-grandchildren, Nancy, Joey, Ricky; nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Glen Thompson Sr. and Jr.; Maurice Ducharme, Mike Drummond and Susan Cook. A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, March 13 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Salmon River Fire Hall, 1102 Salmon River Road.
