BELYEA, ELEANOR L.
Eleanor L. (Burley) Belyea, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Embassy Hall, Quispamsis, NB. Eleanor was the eldest daughter of Oliver and Marion (Gillen) Burley and the wife of the late Earle C. Belyea.
During her lifetime she was an avid reader, an accomplished pianist with a lovely voice, which she put to good use, reading and singing to her seven children. In later life, she took up painting. She also enjoyed bowling with the Thursday afternoon Legion League.
Missing her already are her family; sons, Bruce and Jay (Lori) both of Kennebecasis Valley, and David of Calgary, daughters, Diane Clark (Darrell), Joanne McDevitt (Danny), both of Kennebecasis Valley, Krisann Spencer (John) of Darling Island, and Jill Logan (David) of Grand Bay-Westfield, grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Aaron, Matthew, Rebecca, and Jamie, step grandchildren, Rebecca, Jacob, David, Debra and Janet, great-grandchild, Zachary, sisters, Nancy Nelson (the late William), Sandra Currie (Alvin), brother-in-law James Wilson, sister-in-law Beverly (Burley) Hallett, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was predeceased by brothers, Glendon and Harry Burley (Connie) and sisters, Norma Shannon (Murray) and Joan Wilson.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and residence of Embassy Hall for their care and compassion for Eleanor.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) with visiting on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Extension at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation - Breast Health Trust Fund, would be appreciated.
