HEFFERN, LAURA ANN (nee FARRIS)
It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Anne (nee Farris) Heffern, announce her passing on March 10th, 2015 in Pembroke, Ontario.
Laura is survived by her best friend, caring and the love of her life, husband, D. Troy Heffern; her three daughters, Ashley Linden (Alex), Natasha Heffern and Emily Annie Heffern; her parents, Francesca and Terry Linden and Penny Farris (mom #2) and the late E. George Farris; her sisters, Patricia Munn-Farris and Sonja Farris; mother-in-law, Emily Heffern; aunts, Elinor Cimolino, Sandra Farris, Pauline Rogers and Anita Savoie; uncles, Joseph Cimolino, Andrew Stuart and Carl Rogers; nieces, Kristin Thompson, Amanda Heffern, Cassidy Heffern and Tinka Heffern; nephews, Jacob Heffern, Matt Rogers and Christopher Rogers; brother-in-law, Dwight Heffern; sisters-in-law, Judy Heffern (Miles), Bethann Heffern and Tracy Heffern and special companions, Champy and Jessie. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Laura was predeceased by her grandparents, Joseph and Malfina Cimolino, Everett and Lois Farris and father-in-law, Kevin Heffern.
Resting at McAdam’s Funeral Home (160 York Street, Fredericton), the family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 17th, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Kelly Burke will be officiating with honorary pallbearers, aunt, Pauline Rogers, niece, Kristin Thompson, friends, Sheri Somerville, Shannon Pountney and Lisa Gormley, sister-in law, Judy Heffern, sisters, Pattie Munn-Farris and Sonja Farris.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Laura’s memory can be made to the MS Society, Fredericton Food Bank and the SPCA.
