John (Jack) Bath
July 25, 1928 - March 11, 2015
Jack passed away peacefully in the Estevan Regional Nursing Home surrounded by his family on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at the age of 86. Jack leaves to mourn his wife of 60 years, Vivian, his daughters Patricia (Richard Rodgers), Janice (Floyd Daniels), his son Kelvin, 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Elaine Watson and Sharon (Ernest Muhle), brother-in-law Melvin (Jean) Knarr; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father, brothers and sisters. Jack worked for the CPR for 20 years and 27 years as the caretaker for Mossbank School. He served on the Mossbank Town Council for 8 years. Jack was very proud of being a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. One of his greatest joys was coaching. He coached ladies fastball for over 40 years and men's hockey for a number of years. In his retirement he enjoyed building birdhouses and small wood projects with Vivian. The Memorial Service will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Doug Hallman will officiate. Interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 279 Third Ave. N., Saskatoon, S7K 2H8. In living memory of Jack, a memorial planting will be made by W.J.
