Passed peacefully away in her 89th year on 07-Mar-2015 at Chancellor Park in St. John's, NL, Mrs. Marguerite Hickey of St. John's and Gander.

Predeceased by her husband Leo Hickey in 2010, her parents Gertrude and Gerald O'Brien, brothers Edward, John and George and sister Mary Ford.

Leaving to mourn daughters Paula, Brenda (Cecil Collins), and Sharon (David Tilley) and sons Greg, Gerard (Catharine), and Patrick (Jenny). Grand-children David (Sophie), Sheilagh, and Kieran Hanley (Jessica), Matthew (Jennifer) and Tony (Tori) Clement, and Barbara Collins. Also her sisters Rosalie Curran and Zita Woodward, and sisters-in-law Patricia Doyle, Betty O'Brien, and Maureen O'Brien.

The wake took place at Caul's Funeral Home in St. John's on Tuesday 10-Mar-2015 and the funeral service, celebrated by Fr. Fred Browne of St. Paul's Parish, took place on Wednesday, 11-Mar-2015. Marguerite was laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with her husband, Leo.


All who knew her will remember her gentle and sweet nature.
