Archie Kenneth “Ken” Wallace of Moose Jaw formerly of Chamberlain passed away on March 13, 2015 at the age of 88. Ken was born and raised in Chamberlain and farmed in the area until he retired to Moose Jaw. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife Betty; niece Gail (Richard) Sastaunik; step-daughter Leona (Ron) Bennett; step son Stuart (Linda) Maxwell; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; as well as great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Nellie; five sisters Marjorie, Eileen, Winnifred, Muriel and Gwen; one brother Ralph, niece Carol and one great-nephew Doug. Ken was also an active member of the Timothy Eaton Club and the Cosmo Senior Centre Club in Moose Jaw. A Memorial Service will be held at W. J. Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St E., Moose Jaw, on Thursday March 19, 2015 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Jim Tenford will officiate. Interment will take place at Chamberlain Cemetery. Ken’s family would like to sincerely thank the nursing staff on the surgery unit at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital for their care and compassion.
