It is with great sadness the family of Shirley Dicks of Winterland announces her passing on March 13th at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center at the age of 74 years.
Leaving to mourn husband Harold; sons Dwayne (Metchild) of BC and Dean (Leigh) of Ottawa; grandchildren Arik, Tyler and Jaymie; sister Elsie Crocker (George); sisters-in-law Shirley Smith, Edna Power and Angeline Anstey; brother-in-law Fred Clements plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Winnie and Ernest Anstey; father-in-law Archibald Dicks; son Daryl Dicks; granddaughter Robin Dicks; Alfred Anstey and sister-in-law Jean Clements .
Rev Dr Japhet Ndhlovu officiated Funeral Service from Grace United Church, Winterland Tuesday, March 17th with interment following at Grace United Cemetery, Winterland.
Pall Bearers were John Dodge, Terry Moulton, Dale Moulton, Randy Brenton, John Gover and Fred Collins
