PHIL DIACON
October 11th, 1925 – March 14th, 2015
Phil passed away peacefully in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital surrounded by his family, in a room overflowing with love. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Madeline (née Frost); sister, Jean (Phil) Gatchell; and brother, Herb. Phil leaves to mourn: his wife of 64 years, Carm; daughters: Kathy (Dave) Churko, Mary (Ron) Brumwell and Laurianne (Pat) Petrie; sons: Rick (Marilyn), Jack (Faye), Doug (Dianna), Michael (Pam), Laverne (Candace) and Robert (Colleen); 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nadine (Tony) Cooper. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 20th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK. Father Rick Krofchek and Father Ronald Andree will be concelebrants and interment will take place in Sunset Cemetery at a later date. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.
