1946 - 2014
Venance Joseph Smith, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the age of 68. Born in Neguac, NB, he was the son of the late Vincent and Olive Smith.
Vince is survived by his loving wife Carol Smith nee Porter, son Venance Junior Smith from Georgetown, P.E.I, daughter Carrie Evelyn Smith and her husband George Donovan. Grandchildren; Dreya, Ty, Brooke, daughter-in-law Lisa Smith (Dion), grandchildren Victoria and John. Sister Yvette (Parent) of Saint John, NB, Brother, Donald of Neguac, NB as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Vince was predeceased by son Michael, and his brothers; Lionel and Lawrence.
A celebration of Life will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Samuel’s Parish, 33 St. Samuel Street, Miramichi, NB.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of The Moncton Hospital for the great care Vince received over the past five months.
