LeBLANC, GEORGES
1932 – 2015
Georges LeBlanc, 82, of Villa Providence Inc., Shediac and formerly of Saint-Grégoire, passed away peacefully at the residence on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Born in Saint-Grégoire, he was the son of the late Célestin and the late Alice (Brun) LeBlanc. On the day of his birth, he lost his mother in childbirth and was raised by his uncle and aunt, the late Lévi and late Obéline (Cormier) LeBlanc as part of their family.
Georges was very well known in Saint-Grégoire and surrounding area, and was always willing to give a helping hand to anybody who needed it.
Georges will be sadly missed by his sister Elise LeBlanc of Saint-Antoine, and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by four sisters; Marie, Rosée, Sr Lydia and Sr Genevièvre and five brothers, Edgar, Alonzo, Lionel, Henri and Aquila.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 1 to 3:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 3:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Georges’s memory donations may be made to the Saint-Jean Baptiste Parish Fund, Bouctouche.
