Wile, Nancy Anne (Harrison) – 68, Fall River/Bass River. The passing occurred on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Q.E. II Infirmary, Halifax, N.S. Born in Springhill, N.S. she was the daughter of Audrey (Skidmore) Ryan and the late Cecil Harrison. Nancy was an outdoors enthusiast who enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. She was the center of the family home and was also well known in the Bass River community for her excellent baking skills. Besides her mother, Nancy is survived by her son, Michael, Toronto; daughter, Marnie (Mel) Starrett, Fall River; four step-grandchildren, Melanie (Michelle), Amanda (Michael), Julia (Tim), and Scott; brother, Donald (Margie); many nieces and nephews; and her favorite four-legged companion “Pussy Cat” She was predeceased by her husband, Owen Wile, her father, Cecil Harrison and by step-fathers, Doug Rae and Donald Ryan; uncle, Douglas Skidmore. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU Department as well as a special thanks to Shirley Davison for her love and support during this difficult time. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 22nd from 1 -3 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
