LEBLANC, DELBERT “DEB” BERNARD
Delbert “Deb” B. LeBlanc, 93, of The Veterans’ Health Centre, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Born in Breau’s Creek (Memramcook), he was the son of the late Sebastien and Mary Angela (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

Deb was a Veteran of WWII, having served in England with the Canadian Army and was a Carman with CN Rail, retiring in 1981 with 37 years’ service. He had a “sweet tooth”, enjoyed a good debate, watching TV and drives in the country.

Deb will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Yvonne (LeBlanc) LeBlanc and daughters, Barb Smith (Randy) of Moncton and Nancy LeBlanc of Halifax, NS; precious granddaughters, Kelly Richard (Gary) of Charlottetown, PE and Nessa Shipley (Gavin) of Winnipeg, MB; cherished great grandchildren, Brynne and Kieran; sister, Julia Cormier and brother, Sammy LeBlanc, both of Dieppe.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Eddie, Pat, James, Allie, Leroy, Arthur and Valmore; sisters, Hilda and Helen; infant sister, Anne.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Moncton Legion Branch #6 Memorial Service on Sunday at 1:45 pm. Parish Prayers and Sharing of Memories for Deb on Sunday at 8:30 pm. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church (Falkland St.) on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Charles Broderick officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the Mass. Interment, St. Thomas Church Cemetery, St. Joseph (Memramcook).
