Also leaving to mourn her brothers-in-law; Gerard (Melina) Foote, Bruce Foote, Stan (Melene) Foote, Curtis Foote, her sisters-in-law; Anne (Danny) Blanchard and Mary (Gerard) Bennett, her uncles; Lester (Martha) Cutler, Dave (Blanche) Cutler, Dawson (Trudy) Cutler and Jimmy (Lou) Cutler, her aunts; Marilyn (James) Jordan, Ida (Murray) Hennessey, June (Frank) Tucker and Dolly (Donnie) Akins along with her cousins extended family and many friends. Glenda has been predeceased by both her parents Gerard and Ruby Dennis, her father-in-law Charles Foote and by her grandparents James and Marion Cutler and Garnett and Amelia Dennis. Glenda was born in Labrador City but use to visit her grandparents every summer. One particular summer she met Charlie and she made St. Georges her home. She received an LPN Diploma and for the next 20 years she practiced at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing. Glenda's career came to an end early with her cancer diagnoses in October, 2011. Glenda enjoyed her work immensely but her greatest pride was her three children; Donovan, Dylan and Raeanna. Her only wish was to fight her battle until she seen her three children graduate. Unfortunately God had another plan for her. Glenda fought her cancer head on and with a vengeance. It was her tenacity that made her fight as long as she did until she could fight no more. She is at peace now with the angels and in the loving arms of her parents and those who passed before her. Glenda loved flowers...At Glenda's request cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving friends at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in St. Georges on Sunday March 22nd from 2-6:30 pm from where funeral services will take place on Monday March 23rd at 2pm with Father Nickolas Griffith officiating. Inurnment will take place in the church cemetery. At this time expressions or acts of kindness towards Glenda's children would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of Russell's Funeral Home, Stephenville.
