MELANSON, NORMAN J.
1938 - 2015
Norman Melanson, 76, of Grand-Barachois and formerly of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Thursday, March 19th, 2015, at his residence.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Willie and the late Germaine (née: LeBlanc) Melanson. Prior to retirement, Norman worked all his life for Mother’s Own Bakery. He also loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife, Rosella “Rose” (née: Cormier); two sons: Terry (Lynn Noiles) of Memramcook and Roland of Grand-Barachois; two brothers: Joseph “Babe” and Roger “Ti-Cot”, both of Dieppe; two sisters-in-law: Jeannine Melanson of Dieppe and Dianne Melanson of Moncton; one granddaughter, Terlyn, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Donnie and Bobby.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Tuesday from 2 pm until time of service.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, March 24th, 2015 at 4 pm. Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium.

Donations to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
