It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Bennett announce her passing in Ft. Nelson on March 17, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn her children: Helen Anderson (Wayne), Rose Mary Hatcher(Dave), Shannon Bennett, Brian Bennett and Jackie Bennett (Marty) and daughter-in-law Martha Bennett. Grandchildren: Chad and Travis Anderson, Michelle and Devon Bennett, Matthew Hatcher, Kayla and Alix Huculak and Amanda Bennett. Great grandchildren: William, Cyanne, Joey, Blake and Paige. Sisters Dollas Coles and Theresa Woodworth (Fred). Sister-in-law Marilyn Gaudett (Paul),Ivy Bennett, Sylvia Seymour. Brothers-in-law Ronald Bennett (Sylvia) and Clarence Bennett, Eric Young. And a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Betty is predeceased by her daughter Sharon, sons Tony and Todd and husband Shannon. Sisters Margaret Barrett , Madeline Roberts, Francis Hewlett and brother John Seymour. Brothers-in-law Tom Bennett (Marie), Ernest Bennett, Sam Coles. Sister-in-law Francis Kelly, Marie Young. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the Ft. Nelson Recreation Centre with Rev. Ida Reid officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Nelson Cemetery. In keeping with Betty's wishes cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
