BRAWN, RONALD WILLIAM
Ronald W. Brawn of Lower Hainesville, NB passed away March 21, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ronald was born at Staples Settlement, NB in 1939, the eldest son of the late William and Ruby Pearl (Wilkins) Brawn.
Ronald was the beloved husband, father and grampa to his family, who will miss him profoundly, as he was a major part in all of their lives. His stories, laughter and love of his family will keep his memory alive in all of our hearts.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Bragdon) Brawn; his children, Debbie Brawn-Mitchell (Brent), Toronto, ON, Danny Brawn (Kim), Summerside, PE and Dana Brawn Allen (Shawn), Belleville, ON; eight grandchildren, Christopher Mitchell (Lisa), Sharon Coyle (Brian), Matthew Mitchell, William Brawn, Andrew Brawn, James Allen, Benjamin Allen and Madelyn Allen (Dillon); four great-grandchildren, Presley, Bronson, Ronan and Teagan; three sisters, Marjorie Rediker, Marilyn Brewer (Larry) and Gayle Brawn; four brothers, Allen Brawn (Faye), Robert Brawn, Joseph Brawn (Gladys) and Kevin Brawn (Crystal); several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in the Bragdon family; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Rusty Leigh Brawn, and his father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Annie Bragdon.
A Celebration of his life and a reception will be held at the Upper Hainesville Hall, Route 610, Upper Hainesville, NB on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment will be at a later date at Staples Settlement Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Ronald, the family has suggested Makaela Brewer’s Family, the Staples Settlement Cemetery or the Yonge Street Mission in Toronto.
