KINNEY, MARY LOU THERESA
The death of Mary "Mary-Lou" Louise Theresa Kinney occurred on March 21st, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital with family by her side. Mary Lou was born on May 8th, 1951 in Bath, New Brunswick to the late Leo and Josephine Hall.
She will be fondly remembered by friends and family. Mary-Lou, her husband, Larry and son, Sean, moved to Maugerville, NB in the early 1970’s and she started her career at the Oromocto Public Hospital. She retired as the Regional Manager of the Sterilization Department for the Region 3 Hospital Corporation and was admired as a manager and colleague.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; son, Sean (Shawna) and two beloved grandchildren, Connor and Rachael. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Hall (Madeline); sisters, Anne Chase, Rose-Marie Ouellette (Bud Jackson), Joan DeMerchant (Lowell) and Dianne Kenney (Glazier); brother-in-law, David McMann; sister-in-law, Betty Brideau and numerous nieces and nephews
Mary-Lou was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Vernon, Albert and Patrick; sister, Jaunita McMann; brother-in-law, Ray Chase and sister-in-law, Charoline (Foster) Hall
During the final days of her life, Mary-Lou and her family received tremendous support from amazing friends, all of whom she cherished. She will be forever remembered for her kindness, generosity, the love she had for her grandchildren and her sense of humour. No one loved a practical joke more than her.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Beatrice Sainz and staff at the Oromocto Public Hospital for the great care and compassion Mary-Lou and her family received.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Monday, March 23rd from 6 to 8 pm. A memorial service will take place at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 24th at 10:00 am with Fr. Bill Brennan officiating.
