MacDonald, Gladys “Ruth” – 96, passed away March 21, 2015 at the Willow Lodge for Special Care, Tatamagouche with her daughter, Judy by her side. Born in Westville, N.S. moved to Tatamagouche at a young age. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Tattrie) Buckler. Ruth and her husband Earl lived in Bible Hill, where they raised their children. She was a great Mom, Granny and Wife who enjoyed baking, knitting, reading books, playing cards and listening to old time music. After Earl moved into Willow Lodge in 1998, Ruth moved over to the Hills of Annan, Tatamagouche to be closer to him. She will be sadly missed and loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Judy (Ed) Cullen and a very special granddaughter, Jaimie. She is predeceased by her husband Earl; sons, Charles “Chuck” and Donald “Donnie” also her brothers, Clarence “Bill”, Eldon and sister, Lucy. A very heartfelt thanks to the Staff at Willow Lodge.
