Davis, Alvin Raymond, 72, Newport Station, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at QE 2 on March 19, 2015. Born in Falmouth on May 29, 1942, he was the only son of the late Albert and Enid (Burgess) Davis. Alvin was previously employed by Farmers Dairy for 35 years starting as a Delivery Driver and then switching to Bulk Tank Division. He is survived by his partner of 23 years, Sharron Etter and her children, Bradley and Lori. His children, son, Shawn; daughters, Tracey (Randall), and Angela; grandchildren, Joseph, Amy, Matthew, Nash and Austin; great-grandson, Nathaniel. sisters, Ada Gauvin and Emma (Vern) Faulkner. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 27 years, Sandra Lou (1991) and brother-in-law, Yvon Gauvin. A celebration of his life was held from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the St. Croix Community Hall, St. Croix. Donations in memory were requested to be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
