Hiltz, Daisy Margaret, 97, of Windsor formerly of Mount Denson, Hants County, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 in the Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born on July 4, 1917 in New Ross, she was a daughter of the late, Alonzo and Zeda (Meister) Peach. Daisy graduated from Yarmouth School of Nursing then she went to Rhode Island for further training returning to nurse in Nova Scotia. Surviving are her children, Lois (George) Lynch, Mount Denson; Rodney (Nellie) Hiltz, Ben Jackson Road; Bernard (Annie) Hiltz, Penticton, British Columbia; Janet (Richard) Dexter, Lockhartville; grandchildren, Vicki, Darren, Rebecca, Clayton and Karen; great-grandchildren, Anderson and Luc; sister, Sylvia Clarke, Windsor; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Clayton; grandson, Kevin Lynch; sisters, Marion Taylor, Freda Hartt, Irene Faulkner; brother, Aubrey Peach. There was no visitation by request. Memorial service was held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 in the Dykeland Lodge, 124 Cottage Street, Windsor. Pastor Craig Faulkner officiated. Interment will be in Mount Denson Cemetery at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Friends of Dykeland Lodge or any charity.
