Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of the late Mose & Catherine (Burns) Arsenault.
Betty lived her life in New Waterford always active in the community and church, she and the “golden girls” did it all, from line dancing to ice skating, bowling and travelling. She enjoyed her last years at the Richmond Villa, a very beautiful facility with caring, helpful and friendly staff.
Betty is survived by her children, Curtis (Joann), Port Hawkesbury, Karen (John) Kennedy, L’Ardoise, Richard (Celeste), Dartmouth, Kevin (Janet), Calgary and Keith (Gwen), Sackville, N.S. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Michael 'Mickey' Murray; sister, Jean Malik & brother, Len Arsenault.
Betty was supported by the kindness and love of all the special people who phoned her and dropped by to visit on a regular basis. She was very close to lifetime friends Eileen Roach and Delores Kennedy. The family would like to express our many thanks to the nurses and staff at the Richmond Villa for the excellent care mom received over the past two years.
