G. William "Bill" Simmonds passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 23, 2015 with his family at his side.
Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., son of Viney Simmonds and the late John A. Simmonds.
Bill will be sadly missed by his wife of 37 years, Joan (Hughes); his son, Andrew (Jenny) of Midway, B.C.; his daughter, Christa (Ryan) of St. Stephen, N.B.; 2 grandchildren, Lincoln and Teagan. Bill enjoyed life especially spending time with his family. He was a great man who loved sailing, woodworking and classic cars.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Friday, March 27, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
Remembrances in Bill's memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Society or the charity of the donors' choice.
