Karl Hay Mosher, of Debert and the son of the late George and Minnie (Crouse) Mosher, was born on February 10th, 1928, in Halifax, and lived in Debert. He leaves his children; Margo, Lisa, Carla and Andrew, his sister, Elaine, and 4 grandchildren; Nicholas, Emily, Jake and Joely. Most of his career was as an assembly line foreman, for Volvo, Halifax. In 1972, the family resettled in Debert where he worked for Scott Truck. Karl remained active well into his 80s, until his health problems, of the past 2 years, increased. Karl will be remembered for his love of the land, work ethic, pride for his children and grandchildren, and, most especially, his sense of humour. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. A celebration of Karl’s Life will take place on Sunday, March 29th from 2-4 in the Debert Hospitality Centre, Debert. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
