Lois Caroline Wallace, age 95, of Green Street, New Glasgow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in High Crest Nursing Home, Sherbrooke.
Born in Stewiacke, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Caroline (Weir) Fulton.
She is survived by daughter Caroline Wallace, B.C. and several nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by close family friends Calvin Hayman and Sheri Campbell, Pam and Kurtis MacGillivray, and Berk and Chris Hayman.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur “Buddy” Wallace, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Lois was an avid gardener, enjoyed knitting, and stamp collecting, among other hobbies. Her compassion for nature left a lasting impression on those who knew her and visited her gardens.
A heartfelt thank you is expressed to Curtis and Rona Carroll, and the nurses and staff at High Crest Home in Sherbrooke who Lois developed a close and meaningful relationship with.
Mrs. Wallace is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville where visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:30 -1:45, followed by her funeral service at 2 o’clock Saturday at the Funeral Home, with Rev. Donna Tourner officiating. Spring burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery.
