COGHILL, IRIS ELIZABETH – Age 92, White Rock passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2015. Elizabeth was born and raised in Estevan, Saskatchewan along with two brothers and two sisters to the family of the late David and Mildred (Jones) Bannatyne. After graduating from high school, Elizabeth joined the CWAC serving in Ottawa for the duration of the war. She attended Mount Allison University, Sackville, NB graduating in the Class of 50 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts. She taught at the Ontario Ladies College, Whitby, ON during which time she met Alec and they married in 1952, together raising four children Cathie, Beth, David and Margaret. The family living in various places in Canada and overseas. Elizabeth and Alec after his retirement settled in Wolfville in 1987. Elizabeth is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, as well as two sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews in Kingston, ON and out west. Predeceased by her husband Alexander (2007). A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at 2p.m. Rev. Sandra Fyfe officiating at the St. John’s Anglican Church, Wolfville.
