Harold Stilwell

STILWELL, HAROLD EDWARD
Harold E. Stilwell of Lower Hainesville, NB passed away on March 28, 2015 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Harold was born in Hainesville, NB on December 29, 1923, a son of the late Benjamin and Mariah (Avery) Stilwell.
Harold spent his early years as a woods worker, followed by a carpentry and electrician career with CPR. He loved to hunt, fish and go to their camp at Hayne. Harold had a great love for music and played guitar, mouth organ and keyboard. His signature song was “I’m a Millionaire”.
He is survived by his only son, Danny Stilwell (Linda), Hainesville, NB; a granddaughter, Gretchen Poulin (Philip); a grandson, Benjamin Stilwell; a great-granddaughter, Gracie Poulin; many beloved nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Pauline (Stinson) Stilwell and an infant daughter; a sister, Annie Bragdon; half-brothers, Henry, Earl and Derwood Moore; a half-sister, Mabel Webb; a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Stinson.
Visiting hours will be held at Lower Hainesville Wesleyan Church, 468 Central Hainesville Road, Lower Hainesville, NB on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the church with Rev. Scott Lewis and Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will be later at Lower Hainesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan King, Roger King, Stephen King and Mark King.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lower Hainesville Cemetery, Lower Hainesville Wesleyan Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
