The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, of Carol Anne Marie Gallant of Summerside, aged 65 years. Carol was born in Kingston, Ont., to her parents Bernice (nee Pelow) and the late Robert Gallant. Loving mother of Brian (Tasha) Tod of Ottawa and Chris Tod of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren Allison, Michael, Grace and Kayla. Survived by her brother Terry Gallant of Vancouver, B.C. Besides her father Carol was predeceased by her brother Bobby Gallant. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Tuesday, March 30, then to St. Paul’s Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Carol’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Society or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
