Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Saturday, March 28, 2015, aged 95 years, widow of well known businessman and blacksmith William Coady and an adored wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Mercedes Peters, infant son Ronald Joseph, brothers Charles and John and sister Margaret. She is survived by eight children, Edward (Rose Marie), Betty, Maureen (Bob O'Dea), Loretta (Bill Macdonald), William (Joelyn), Ron (Diana), Mary Lou (Don Eady) and Gerry, 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law Thomas and Eugene (Eileen) Coady, sisters-in-law Carmel Fleming, Marie Reel, Irma Coady, Stella Kane, Patsy Eagan and Marilyn as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, April 1st at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family extends a special note of thanks to Drs. Percy Crocker and Pat O'Shea for their long-standing care to Mom/Nan as well as the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home and caregivers who helped along the way.
