POLLOCK, ELSIE MARION
Elsie M. Pollock, formerly of Harvey Station, NB passed away April 2, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Elsie was born at Magundy, NB in 1920, a daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Rosborough) Henry.
She enjoyed camping, knitting, quilting and was known for her delicious molasses cookies. Elsie was a member of the L.O.B.A in Harvey Station for more than 6o years.
She is survived by her children, Harriet McKay, Mazerolle Settlement, NB and Earl Pollock (Lorna), Hanwell, NB; her grandchildren, Heather Brown (Richard), Vicki Novak (Matt), Craig Neilson, Kelly Laforge (Mark), Jaime Huelin (Chad); several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Glenna Cole, Harvey Station, NB; sisters-in-law, Florence Henry, Marie Pollock and Anita Stevenson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Austin Pollock, a daughter, Lynn, a sister, Myrtle Stremlo, three brothers, Hazen, Allan and Robert Henry and two sons-in-law, Bill Neilson and Richard McKay.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A L.O.B.A. tribute service will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral chapel on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wendy MacWilliams officiating. A reception will follow at Knox Presbyterian Church hall. Interment will be later at Acton Cemetery.
