It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother Marilyn MacMullin, 65, on April 2, 2015, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital with her loving family at her side.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of Mary and the late Allan Cole.
Marilyn was employed for many years at the Glace Bay General Hospital.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family, she also enjoyed gardening, painting, playing darts and Sunday afternoons down at Dougie's Shore, but her greatest love was her three little boys who called her 'Gran'.
Surviving are her loving husband Jimmie; sons, D.J (Vanessa), Glen (Eleanor Westcott); grandchildren Ty, Cole and Max; mother Mary Cole, sister Judy Cole and many close in-laws and friends.
Besides her father she was predeceased by brothers, Tom, Sam and sister Glenda.
Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2 p.m. at St. Lukes United Church, Donkin with Rev. Bob Biggar officiating.
Family flowers only, donations can be made in Marilyn’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
