Thomas Peter ‘Tommy’ Kostey, age 51 of Glace Bay, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015, in the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Michael and Jemima Willenia ‘Wilma’ (Ferguson) Kostey.
Tommy was a handyman by trade and an avid NASCAR fan. Jeff Gordon was his favourite driver. Tommy also loved spending time out in nature.
Tommy is survived by two brothers, Jim (Pauline), Stewart (Mary), both in Glace Bay; three nieces, Michelle, Lisa, Raven; one nephew, Michael; great nephew, Luke and great niece, Sophia.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay.
Donations may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice in memory of Tommy.
