The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, April 5, 2015, of Eleanor Margaret (nee MacLeod) Paynter of Summerside, aged 69 years. Eleanor was born in Summerside to her late parents Allan and Mary (nee Martin) MacLeod. Loving mother of John (Angela) MacLeod of O'Leary, Troy and Todd (Christine) Paynter, all of Charlottetown, and Jason Paynter of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, April 9, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eleanor's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated.
