KIRKPATRICK, PATRICIA
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Patricia Ethel Kirkpatrick, loving wife of Cecil Kirkpatrick, which occurred on Tuesday April 7, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1941 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late James and Kathleen (Welling) Russell.
In addition to her husband Cecil, she is survived by her children Russell (Gisele), Douglas (Bridget), Linda (Carl) Campbell all of Saint John and Steven (Tiffany) of Quispamsis; sister Kathleen LeBlanc of Saint John; grandchildren Neil Campbell, Laura Greenwood, Allison (Michael) Bent, Andrew Kirkpatrick and Logan O’Neill; great-grandchildren Desmond Hastings and Jaron Bent; Jim’s partner Susan Curbishley; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Jim Kirkpatrick and brothers Fraser, Weldon and Earle.
Patricia was a volunteer at Hospice for many years and enjoyed camping. Her many talents included knitting, sewing, cooking and crafts.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday, April 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Patricia as well as her late son Jim, will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, Upper Loch Lomond on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at a later date in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
