The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O'Leary, on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, of John "Albert" MacLean, O'Leary, age 89, husband of the late Anna (Auld). Born on September 4, 1925, in West Point, son of the late Mellville and Ruth (nee MacPherson) MacLean. Albert is survived by special niece Mary Lois (Blair) Bernard, West Cape; niece Phyllis Dennis, Pickering, ON; stepchildren James (Donna) Bartlett, Alliston, ON; Earl Bartlett, Brantford, ON; Judy Stewart (Charles Gallant), Miscouche. Step-grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also remembered by dear friends Carol (Wayne) Livingstone and Herman (Lillian) MacLean. Albert was predeceased by his parents, wife Anna, sisters Evelyn (Lorne) Ellis, Edith (Herbert) Dennis, Doris in infancy, brother-in-law Walter Auld and sister-in-law Marian Clattenburg. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in the West Pont Presbyterian Cemetery in the spring. Brethern of the Corinthian Lodge #19 O'Leary, will hold a masonic service for their late brother on Thursday evening following visiting hours at 8 p.m. In memory of Albert, memorials to the O'Leary Community Health Foundation (MSEH) or Canadian Diabetes Association (PEI) would be appreciated. www.fergusonsfh.com
