Harden, Eva passed away April 2, 2015 at Herbert, SK. Eva was born April 23, 1927, and raised on the farm homestead at Prelate, SK. She was the youngest of seven children born to Leonard and Agatha Hammel. She worked at the Prelate Hospital for awhile where she met Virgel Harden. They married on March 21, 1943 and resided in Swift Current. Eva enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to crochet and knit and made hundreds of teddy bears which were sent to third world countries. She also liked to play bingo and enjoyed a night out at the casino. Eva is survived by one daughter, Louise Drummond of Herbert, SK and her son, John (Shari) Harden of Southy, SK and Wayne (Vickie) Harder of Herbert, SK and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Virgel, and two daughters, Phyllis Moore and Victoria Harden. A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Chapel of Warren's Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The pallbearers were Shelbe Drummond, Shawn Harder, Clinton Harder, Kylie Harder, Shane Harden, and Janek Strus. The interment was held at Memory Garden's Cemetery in Swift Current, SK.
