Rousell, Garth Nelson
It is with great pain that I announce the peaceful passing of Garth, with his loving partner John by his side, on April 9, 2015 at 68 years of age. Survived by his best friend and partner of 32 years John Samuel. Dear brother-in-law of Marlene Rousell of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his parents Nelson and Mildred Rousell and brothers Dyton and Lyndon all of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Garth’s career as an Operating Room nurse took him to many sites, such as: his first love, the Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Toronto General Hospital and finally Hotel Dieu- Grace Hospital. He had many loves: John, his home, his cat and his colleagues, but he especially found joy in bringing a smile to someone special, either through an unexpected e-mail, a card or a token gift. In lieu of flowers or charitable donations, we would ask that you do something for someone to bring a smile to them and in doing so, remember Garth knowing that he will be watching with his usual smile and knowing that his life had purpose. Following cremation and a private service, his remains will be intered at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Resurrection Mausoleum, Windsor, ON.
