MELANSON, MARIE
1921 - 2015
Marie Melanson, 93, of l’Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Thursday April 9, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC following a sudden illness.

Born August 28, 1921 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Tilmon and Élise (LeBlanc) Melanson.

She was retired from Transport Dept. at CN with over 30 years service.
Marie is survived by her two sisters: Laure Gautreau, and Dolores Pitre (Edouard); also many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her step-father, Jacques Gallant; three brothers: Aldéi, Gérard, and Edgar; four sisters: Stella Bourque, Irene Cormier, Jeannette Ménard, and Corinne Furlong.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Wednesday April 15 at 11 am.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
