HOPE, KIRKLAND JAMES
1964-2015
With great sadness, the family of Kirkland James Hope announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at his residence. Kirk, son of Randolph and Vona (nee Shears) Hope was born on July 26, 1964, in Saint John, New Brunswick.

In addition to his loving parents, Kirk will be greatly missed by his brothers Zane (Marion) Spryfield, NS, Nathan (Patricia), Tennyson (Rose), Bobby (Leona) and Morgan (Gwen) all of Saint John; sisters Teala Cain Saint John, Vona MacMillan (Danny) Charlottetown, PEI and Anita Barrie (Kevin) Lower Millstream, NB, as well as, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Mark Cain.

Kirk was a Seaman with the Canadian Coast Guard in the late 80’s and early 90’s, working on the ice breaking ship the Thomas Carleton. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was also a graduate of Simonds High School and had a love for country music. Kirk was a very hard worker and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He lived a happy life, making the most of his time with his family and friends.

Arrangements under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). The funeral service will be held, Monday, April 13, 2015 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
