HUMBY, DONNA LOUISE
The passing of Donna Louise Humby of Stanley, NB, wife of the late Claude M. Humby occurred peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on October 28, 1947 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Noble and Edith (Millington) Snowdon.
She loved gardening, cooking for her family and had always enjoyed crosswords and playing Boggle with her late husband. Donna spent her last year at Ste. Anne’s Court where she made many wonderful friendships and often spoke fondly of her time there.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Terrianne Humby (Rene Theriault) of Fredericton, NB; sisters, Judith Falconer (Doug) of St. Stephen, NB, Jean Snowdon, Debora Landry (Roger) and Sharon Finnamore (Bruce) all of Fredericton, NB; brother, Wayne Snowdon (Bonnie) of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her infant sister, Jane.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10 am. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
