It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Idella Marie Stroud nee Feltham announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, April 11th, 2015, at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn her husband: Robert, her children: Peg Stroud-Mountian (Bill), Donna Stroud-Taylor (Mike), Danny (Muriel), Bonnie Stroud-Ralko (John), Robin (Bev), Cathy Stroud (Lyle Farquhar), Bobby (Darcy Stewart) & Muriel Ann Vaters (Wilf), a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous friends. She also leaves to mourn her sisters & brothers: Olive Button (Jake), Drucie Stroud, Lew Feltham (Louise), Violet Button (Ches), brother & sister-in-laws: Phyllis Stroud, Ed Stroud, Mary-May Cassell, Isabelle Hollingsworth, Grecia Stroud, & Lilly Curtis (Larry), Idella was predeceased by her parents: John & Muriel Feltham, her in-laws: Albert & Annie Stroud, her brother: Abel Feltham, brother & sister-in-laws: Dick, Jack, George, Nelson, Reg, Paul, Vicki, Annie and Halwen Stroud, Fred Cassell, Bob Flanagan, & Stan Hollingsworth. Idella also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, family & friends. The family will be receiving relatives and friends from The Church of the Ascension in Howley, NL, on Tuesday, April 14th, 2015, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place from the Anglican Church on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015, at 2 pm with Rev: Ed King officiating. In keeping with Idella's wishes cremation will follow and the burial will take place at a later date.
